MERDEKA HOUSE is a four level guesthouse with 6 private rooms that have panoramic views of the surf and Maluk bay. Base yourself here while surfing and exploring West Sumbawa, Indonesia.
Guest rooms are on the first and second level. The third level has a spacious lounge and kitchen area. The open kitchen is set up with refrigeration, guest storage space and cooking facilities. Tea, coffee and clean drinking water are provided.

GUEST ROOMS newly renovated in 2021 they are now bigger with private patios and outdoor areas. There are twin share, double or family room options. Rooms are kept cool with fans. Linens, towels, mosquito nets and handmade soaps are provided. Each room has a private bathroom with clean western toilets, sinks and showers.

Guests, new visitors and members of the peanut gallery are all welcome. Listen to laid-back music and savor the elevated views of the supersuck surf break. Ice cold drinks available - Try a ginger brew!
OUTDOOR BBQ AND WOOD OVEN
The outdoor kitchen area has a hot plate for BBQ's and a wood fire oven for pizza nights and fresh bread.
THE LOUNGE AREA
The lounge area has dining tables, day beds, couches and yoga mats. There is a projector, play station and television. Merdeka TV is a shared network loaded with films and TV series that guests can access from their own devices or from the lounge TV. Guest can also play cards or board games, and read books or magazines. There is a pool table, dart board and music sound system. Fast WIFI is available for guest use.
MERDEKA RAMP
A 4ft concrete bowl with a mellow transition and extra smooth finish. Guests and visitors welcome. Lights for riding at night. Skate boards available. Sound system and seating. Safety railings have now been added for your protection or bomb drops if your inclined.
Rudy is fully aware that alcoholism can lead to bad choices and he will happily encourage you to try some radical maneuvers on the ramp the night before a big swell.
